Photos of Dike's 1951 M37

A fellow M37 owner who lives not too far away from me sent me the following photos with a note that he had decided to sell his 1951 Dodge M37.  He has since sold the truck to someone in Texas, but I thought that I would keep the photos and his description up for reference purposes.  I do not know what the actual price that he and the buyer agreed to, only what he was asking at the time the add was placed.

The information that he sent me:

"This is one of nicest M37’s around. It has 10,726 original miles with all the extras – troop seats, winch, fording kit, pioneer
rack w/tools, cargo bows and turn signals. Always garage stored, with nearly perfect metal work. The tailgate was replaced
recently with a brand new-in the crate OEM tailgate – not a repro. New canvas, new brakes, new paint (exterior & interior).
Five brand new tires with less than 25 miles on them. Mechanically sound – you won’t find a better running, reliable, straight
M37 as this one. Priced at a fraction of my investment. Is truly a collector M37. $9700.00"
