M38A1 Follow Me or Else Truck.

These are some shots of an outstanding M-38A1 that were sent to me by a fellow enthusiast named Bob.  He stated that it was restored by Warren at the March AFB museum .  The truck was assembled from two trucks donated by the reserve unit across the runway, It took about two years to complete but it turned out great.  They cobbled up that M-2 from scratch and a few original parts.  You'd have to be pretty familiar with them to find the flaws.  The kicker is that hey drive this thing all over the
museum grounds.  Warren is in the process of having a "Follow Me Or Else" sign made up, as most follow me trucks didn't sport a .50 Cal.  The truck is due to be featured in one of the MVPA magazines (I suspect Army Motors) in the near future, so you can get a preview here.

If you have questions about any of these photos, send me an email and I'll try to provide an answer or put you in touch with Bob or Warren.
